Arizona Canyon Days

Per the last count of the Arizona Geological Survey, Arizona is home to roughly 1,634 individual canyons.  From the Grandest of them all, to the small arroyo in the far reaches of the Sonoran Desert, Arizona is truly a land of canyons.  We adventure through some of the finest in the northern and central part of our wonderful home, and these adventures are not to be missed.  Feel free to contact us with any questions, or to create your own Arizona Canyon Day.

Sycamore Canyon, near the historic towns of Jerome and Clarkdale, is wonderfully scenic, with the added bonus of having an annual spring at its head.  Incredibly rewarding!

The Painted Desert is full of wonders, and Coal Mine Canyon is one of the most wondrous carved out of the Triassic Chinle and Jurassic Entrada Sandstone, this canyon is wildly colorful, with whimsical geology and unforgettable Painted Desert Scenery.

In the northeast part of our state lies perhaps one of our most cherished wonders, of which very few outside of our state know much about.  Canyon de Chelly (de shay) is vast, deep, and beautiful, and not to be missed.
