The Mojave National Preserve, designated in 2001, is a wild, remote, rugged, and wonderfully spectacular place.  Mostly trailless, our adventure here will take us up and over giant sand dunes, across mountain ranges, and into the heart of the Mojave where sunsets drop jaws, solitude is the norm, and a true wilderness experience awaits the hearty geologist adventurer.
