BackPack the Rockies

The Centennial State has long been held as having some of the most dramatic vistas in the world, and for good reason.  Colorado contains 54 peaks over 14,000ft, has some of the world's most posh ski resorts, and is owner to some of the most special natural places in the world.  The Rocky Mountains soar high above the clouds here, and the mighty Colorado River, carver of canyons and the wonders of the southwest, has its headwaters in Rocky Mountain National Park.  Geologically speaking, it is the sight of the largest volcanic eruption in recorded history, has yielded some of the richest gold and silver deposits ever struck, and contains the eastern edge of the famous Colorado Plateau.  Feel free to contact us with any questions, or to create your own Colorado BackPack adventure.  Check out our Trip Calendar to see all of our great trips!
